About
New York Red Bulls Soccer Day Camps include arrival games, small-sided games, group talks, stretching, and team building activities. Camp activities feature an SSG tournament, tournament play, soccer tennis, and focused work on dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, and favorite games.
• Ages: 4–16 years old
• Schedule: Spring and Summer camps run in half-day, full-day, and extended-day lengths for five days, and Fall camps run in half-day lengths for one or two days based on school days off; Mini Bulls sessions are 3 hours, half-day skills camps are 3–3.5 hours, full-day skills camps are 6–6.5 hours, and Extended Day runs up to 12 hours per day
New York Red Bulls Soccer Day Camps use a curriculum that includes Mini Bulls sessions focused on physical literacy and ball awareness, half-day and full-day skills camps that emphasize ball skills through maximum ball contact and expert coaching, and an Extended Day program that follows the same curriculum as the Residential player camp for players who prefer to travel in daily. Extended Day is for travel and select level players and covers advanced technical and tactical skills. Player camps are open registration and do not require a tryout, while team camps are available for groups of 10 or more players with a flexible curriculum that can revisit selected topics based on the team’s ability level and rate of progress. Team camps use four core building blocks for the training week, with maximum ball contact, conditioning with the ball, and team building central to each area, and each day focuses on a different topic with structured activities, conditioned games, and match play. Players are assigned to groups based on age and ability levels, and the program offers beginner to elite level curriculum options, with early arrival and extended day options at select locations in the summer.
The coaching staff includes professionally trained male and female coaches, and staff members are CPR and First Aid qualified. The stated camp focus is the introduction and mastery of skills in a fun learning environment, achieved through maximum ball contacts and expert coaching, and the camp structure connects to the professional game in a way that keeps players invested in their own development after the camp concludes.
New York Red Bulls Soccer Day Camps offer early registration and sibling discounts, a complimentary Red Bulls soccer ball and T-shirt in spring and summer, and one complimentary ticket to a New York Red Bulls regular season home match. Select summer camps may include a 1st Team Player appearance and visits from the Red Bulls Street Team. Camp day themed topics include Best Soccer Gear, Crazy Hair, Red, White & Blue, Club Pride, and Red Runs Deep, with specific dress themes such as favorite soccer gear, creative hairstyles, red, white and blue items, favorite club gear, and red camp T-shirts. Any sports organization can host a Soccer Skills Camp through a three-step process of picking a date, picking a time, and promoting the camp, and Red Bull New York and Hoboken United have announced a strategic two-year partnership extension to elevate youth soccer excellence.
