Blawenburg Village Preschool opened in April 1999. The mission of Blawenburg Village Preschool is rooted in the Christian faith and practice of the Blawenburg Reformed Church and is open to all faiths, with a focus on nurturing the social, developmental, emotional, and spiritual lives of children. The school describes its environment as caring, safe, nurturing, stimulating, and welcoming, with programs that incorporate a variety of educational theories and the Christian faith, and it is described as the “Hidden Gem of Montgomery.” The school offers an exceptionally low student-teacher ratio and a full-day kindergarten program, with the kindergarten class having a minimum of 6 students and a maximum of 14 students. The kindergarten curriculum closely follows that of the Montgomery Township School District, the NJ Core Curriculum Content Standards, and the Children and Worship program. The Sprouts program is for 2–3 year olds, the Buds program is for 3–4 year olds, the Blossoms program is for 4–5 year olds, and the kindergarten program is for 5–6 year olds. One parent, Marla Bergstein, shared that her daughter attended Blawenburg Village School for three years, still talks about her days there, and often asks if she can go back, and described the teachers as wonderful, friendly, warm, and nurturing.
