About
Creative Learning Academy offers arts and crafts, music, sports, and field trips, including bowling and mini golf. Children in the program take part in swimming at the Hackettstown Pool, and they are asked to bring swimsuits for this activity. The program also includes a Science Enrichment Program, DJ Jam Cat (a music-based curriculum), Stretch and Grow (a curriculum about exercise and making healthy choices), private tutoring, and trips to places such as Land of Make Believe, Funplex, Camel Beach, Jenkinson’s Aquarium, Monster Golf, Keansburg Water Park, Sky Zone, and Frog Falls.

The curriculum is recommended by the New Jersey Department of Education and is described as the number one recommended curriculum in the state. Creative Learning Academy is enrolled in Grow NJ. The center is newly renovated and has 24/7 closed-circuit TV monitoring, and free tours and a virtual tour are available. Programs combine early learning with child care, use hands-on activities, include large group activities, and offer customized child care programs to fit each child’s individual needs. The program offers a before and after school program for Kindergarten and middle-school aged children in separate groups, full day options when school is out for extended breaks and days off, care during fall and spring breaks, and a School Age Program that includes homework help, multiple activities, and private tutoring. The Summer Explorers summer camp program is built for school-aged children with weekly themes that align with trips. A Science Enrichment Program is included at no extra cost to parents, and extra enrichment activities include DJ Jam Cat and Stretch and Grow.
