Tinton Falls Cooperative Preschool is a non-profit, non-denominational cooperative preschool that offers both School Year and Summer Camp options. The cooperative structure includes strong family involvement and a low adult-to-student ratio of no more than 1:7. Programs use a hands-on learning environment focused on social skills, responsibility, and a lifelong love for learning and exploration, with activities that support emotional growth, social skills, creativity, and physical activity.

Founded in 1973, Tinton Falls Cooperative Preschool has served the local community for over 50 years. The school is governed by a Board of Directors and volunteers, with direction and coordination by the Director and staff. Teachers at the preschool have an average of 20 years of experience in early childhood education, and the Director, Becky Martin, focused on Early Childhood Education throughout her academic career at Montclair State University and has more than 30 years of teaching experience. The mission of Tinton Falls Cooperative Preschool is to give all preschool families access to high quality curriculum and a supportive community that prioritizes the whole child’s social, emotional, and educational development. TFCP invites families to be active participants in their child’s first school experience, and parents can choose to contribute their time and talents in the classroom and school community. Every family is considered a member of the TFCP community, and the school states that each voice contributes to shaping the program. TFCP welcomes all families and states that it does not discriminate based on religion, age, nationality, race, color, gender, sexual identity or orientation, or disability.
