About the provider

Valdez Institute of Self Defense was founded in 2018 by Anthony Valdez and Kevin Valdez. The institute says it was established for all to achieve physical, mental, and spiritual well being, and that one aim of martial arts is to produce moral and righteous people, not merely good fighters. Anthony Valdez is listed with credentials including first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do in 2003, Associate Instructor in Contemporary Jeet Kune Do, Associate Instructor in the Filipino Martial Arts, Mataas Na Guro in Pekiti Tirsia Kali, Apprentice Instructor in Yip Man’s Wing Chun, and Apprentice Instructor in Progressive Fighting System. Kevin Valdez is listed as a certified nutritionist.
