Kids Programs at Mountain Creek offers skiing, snowboarding, terrain park sessions, and freestyle training that includes Slopestyle and Rail Jam. Kids can join options such as Kids Camp lessons, Vern’s Outdoor Park sessions, Twisted Kids terrain park sessions, the Mountain Explorers Program, and the Freestyle Team program.

The Kids Camp package includes a full-day access ticket, a lesson, and rental equipment if needed for skiers and snowboarders ages 4–12, and the access ticket and rental are valid for the rest of the day. Kids Camp is sold online only and must be purchased in advance, and rentals are fulfilled through the Red Tail Lodge Rental Shop, with participants asked to allow time for rental pick-up and to arrive dressed and ready. Vern’s Outdoor Park is for kids ages 6 and under, offers 30-minute sessions with rental snowboard equipment included, and requires a day ticket or pass and adult participation, with access also available with a full-day access ticket or pass. Twisted Kids terrain park sessions are free, coached sessions for intermediate skiers and snowboarders ages 6–16, require a valid access pass, and include a final event on March 8 where parents can see participants’ new tricks. The Mountain Explorers Program is a 6-week all-inclusive program for ages 7–15, for students from “never-ever” through advanced skiing or snowboarding, with students grouped by age and ability; access day tickets and rental equipment are included for program days only, and the program is non-refundable and non-transferable. During Mountain Explorers, access cards and rentals are stored in the meeting room, which is also used for gearing up and storing equipment during the program. The Mountain Explorers Saturday group meets each Saturday from January 3 to February 7, and the Sunday group meets each Sunday from January 4 to February 8, with on-snow time from 8:15–11:15am and pick-up by 11:30am.
The Freestyle Team (Freeski & Snowboard Program) is for athletes training across freestyle disciplines from Slopestyle to Rail Jam, with a coaching philosophy focused on building well-rounded, fundamentally strong skiers and riders through structured skills progression. The Freestyle Team runs for 10 weeks beginning January 3, meets at Mountain Creek South on Saturdays and Sundays, and is split into snowboarding from 8–11am and skiing from 3–6pm. Freestyle Team group size is limited to 20 athletes in two groups of 10, and participation requires membership in US Ski & Snowboard and joining the Mountain Creek Ski Racing Club at the Freeski/Snowboard level. The Freestyle Team coaching staff includes four coaches (two ski and two snowboard), each pursuing PSIA, USSS, or USASA Freeski/Snowboard certification. Lift access is not included in the Freestyle Team purchase, so a season pass, triple play, or daily tickets are required. There is a 72-hour cancellation policy on standard lessons, with refunds available only if requested more than 72 hours before the scheduled lesson, and cancellations within 72 hours receiving a 75% off discount to book another lesson time on another day.
