The King Centre for the Performing Arts offers ballet lessons and special events such as an Acro party, Comedy Night, and productions of The Nutcracker, Cinderella's Adventures, AYDC Holiday Party, AYDC Parents Bring Your Own Eggnog & Cookie Party, and GREASE. The program includes activities that involve both regular dance instruction and organized events and performances.

The King Centre for the Performing Arts has been producing highly skilled and versatile performers for over 50 years under the leadership of Artistic Director Nancy C. King. Students and parents from across the tri-state area attend the school, and its alumni have a record of success. The New Jersey Foundation for Dance and Theatre Arts, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization connected with the program, has been presenting The Nutcracker in the North Jersey area for over two decades, including a special 25th Silver Anniversary performance that is considered one of New Jersey’s finest theatrical presentations. The organization also runs events such as its first ever Comedy Night, an annual NJF Dinner Fundraiser, and the Bella Notte Dinner & Tricky Tray Fundraiser.
Parent testimonials describe children starting ballet lessons at the King Centre at age 3 and 6, and mention an Acro birthday party organized by the Centre.
