Great Times Day Camp offers a variety of activities including miniature golf trips, movies, a camp carnival, bowling, Color War (Camp Olympics), Pump It Up, roller skating, and a talent show. Campers also take part in sports such as basketball, baseball, softball, hockey, and tennis. The camp features a 59-acre campus with 2 basketball courts, a baseball and softball field, a hockey rink, a tennis court, and a new playground by the lake with a play structure that has multiple slides and a climbing wall.
• Schedule: Campers go on a trip each week, and all trips are included in tuition with no extra fees.
• Price: All trips are paid for by camp tuition with no extra fees.
Great Times Day Camp has been making memories that last a lifetime since 1978 and has spent summers serving South Jersey families. All counselors are certified teachers, and campers can later become adult staff members. The leadership team includes Gary Worthington, a counselor and teacher at Eastern Regional High School; Auri Grisi, counselor; and Colby Winfield, counselor and teacher at Highland Regional High School in Blackwood, NJ. The camp offers daily lunches that provide a nutritious and filling meal throughout the summer, door-to-door transportation for all children in 16-passenger air-conditioned vans, and a virtual tour of the 59-acre campus. A new playground with a brand new play structure is planned for 2026.
Testimonials from staff describe allowing kids at camp to have fun and note that having certified teachers as staff members gives parents security about their children. Staff also describe memories such as running the 2000 Apache Relay in the rain, leading the lower camp talent show with practices, costumes, and props, and returning each summer because they enjoy the environment, coworkers, and the friendships their children have made at camp.
