About
That’s Entertainment Performing Arts Competition features a range of performing arts activities, including dance, acrobatics, gymnastics, acro, vocal and instrumental performances, modeling, musical theater, acting, and performance cheer. The program is run as a family-owned and operated company that offers performing arts competitions and conventions and tours the Eastern, Central, and Southern United States. Everyone is welcome, whether a studio is big or small, beginner or advanced, or a past or new customer.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Regional events take place on weekends, with Friday events starting after 4:00pm and any routine size and age able to start as early as 7:00am on Saturdays and Sundays.
Their journey started in 1973 with a 400-square-foot studio, and over the next 35 years they added several locations in the New York metropolitan area, leading into their 27th season of performing arts competitions and conventions. The program’s focus and motto is “Where Competition isn’t Everything It’s A Wonderful Thing!” Spark Evolution promotes social awareness at all events. Competitors and directors receive free photos and webcam videos, and no deposits are required. The program offers rebates and competitive pricing, awards up to $10,000 within scholarships offered in all levels, and provides cash and certificate prizes in the Shooting and All Star levels, including cash prizes for the Overall High Score Winner at the All Star level. The Crystal Butterfly Award is given to a performer scoring between 298.5 and 300. No food or alcoholic beverages may be brought into meeting rooms or public spaces by clients or attendees, and there is no smoking, vaping, or e-cigarette use allowed on school property where that rule applies.
