Summer Playground Program

The Summer Playground Program includes supervising a group of children and planning activities for them throughout the summer. Incoming 9th or 10th graders can participate as Counselors in Training (CITs), working alongside a paid counselor in a volunteer role. There are a limited number of CIT positions, and CITs are not guaranteed employment in the Summer Program the following year.

• Ages: 14–16 years old

All counselors are either in the 11th or 12th grade or in college and attend a mandatory counselor orientation and First Aid training session.
