Youth Programs includes fun activities such as games, arts and crafts, art, sports, dance, field trips, pool time, video games, crafts, snacks, and homework help. The program also offers special weekly events as part of its youth activities.

The Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of programs designed for youth and children, including the Safekey program, the Tiny Tots Program, the Summer Parks Program, and activities at the Boulder City Youth Center. The Safekey program is described as a safe alternative for children who would otherwise be home alone before or after school. The Tiny Tots Program focuses on enriching a child's creativity and socialization process, and children must be independently potty trained for Tiny Tots. Students must be 4 years old by October 31 for the 4 and 5 Year Old Tiny Tots Class. The Summer Parks Program is described as a fun playground program giving kids a creative way to spend their summer break. The Boulder City Youth Center is described as a fun exciting place where kids can be kids in a supervised environment, and the Youth Center is currently unavailable due to staffing. Registration is taken each month based on availability, and payment is accepted monthly or annually.

The Government Finance Officers Association announced that the City of Boulder City has again received GFOA's Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its 2025 budget.
