Spring and Summer Day Camp includes daily field trips such as visits to Carson Pool, the Rail Road Museum, Carson Lanes, Chuck "E" Cheese, Lake Tahoe, Nevada Bugs and Butterflies, the Keck Museum, Shakespeare in the Park, and the MAC Center. The program also includes Bible based Christian Character Building Lessons. Daily field trip destinations may change.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Spring Day Camp April 22nd (6 days); Summer Day Camp June 10th–August 9th, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
• Price: Spring Day Camp April 22nd (6 Days $66). Summer Day Camp June 10th - August 9th. ($55 per week). All for one single price $55 per week ($10 registration).
The program has mature adult leadership and is led by Captains Ernie & Sara Evans. The Salvation Army states that its message is based on the Bible and that its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Wherever there is a need in Carson City & Douglas County, The Salvation Army states that it can be found.
