Code Central Summer Tech Camps

Code Central Summer Tech Camps offers hands-on activities in areas such as Robotics, Aerial Drone, 3D Modeling, Game Design, Game Development, Electrical Engineering, and Web Development. Campers can take part in specific courses including Game Design and Development with Unreal Engine, 3D Printing: Character Modeling and Sculpting, Minecraft Developer: Imaginative Game Design, Roblox Developer: Lua Coding and Game Design, Python Programmer: Intro To Coding 101, Robotics Engineer: VEX BattleBot Academy, Electrical Engineer: Intro To Coding 101, and Frontend Developer: Intro To Web Design. Additional activities include Robotics with VEX IQ technology, LEGO Mechanical Engineering, 3D Modeling with digital sculpting tools, 3D printing, Minecraft modding, VEX Robotics, and coding simple video games.

• Schedule: Weeklong camps running Monday–Friday, 9 AM–3 PM

Code Central Summer Tech Camps is led by expert instructors described as inspiring and passionate tech experts. The program’s mission is to create opportunities for youth to learn, explore, and develop valuable skills in a collaborative environment. Since 2018, the organization has offered a place for youth to learn, grow, have fun, and be around others doing the same thing with guidance from knowledgeable and friendly instructors.

The curriculum at Code Central Summer Tech Camps has received accreditation from both the Nevada Department of Education and STEM.ORG. The program is described as Nevada’s most trusted and accredited tech camp for kids and teens and offers small-group, self-paced, project-based learning with hands-on coding projects. It provides group and private instruction, in-person and virtual learning, flexible scheduling, programs for ages 7–17, exciting weeklong and day camps, game nights and competitions, and achievement milestones. The program states that it offers inclusive learning with tailored instruction to meet individual needs.

Code Central is trusted by more than 2,000 families in the Nevada area.
