AYSO Region 1315 Southwest Vegas

AYSO Region 1315 Southwest Vegas offers AYSO Playground, a co-ed program for ages 3 to 5 that uses group activities and soccer themes and requires parent participation. It also offers Core, AYSO’s standard soccer program for U6 to U16 age divisions, with practices and games scheduled by division.

• AYSO Playground — 3-5 years old · Saturday mornings; one 45-minute session per week; runs 6-8 weeks · Co-ed program; uses group activities and soccer themes; requires parent participation; players will not play soccer games.
• Core (U6 to U16) — U6 to U16 age divisions · U6 and U8: practices once per week, usually starting at 6:00 pm; games on Saturday morning. U10 and U12: practices twice per week, usually starting at 6:00 pm or 7:15 pm; games on Friday night. U14/15: practices twice per week, usually starting at 7:15 pm; games on Saturday morning. U16 is listed as a division. · AYSO’s standard soccer program.

About the provider

AYSO was created in 1964. The region hosts two seasons each year in the fall, from August to November, and in the spring, from January to May. AYSO runs on volunteer power, and the region needs at least one person per family to volunteer for a successful season.

Everyone Plays: each child plays 50% of each game. Open Registration: open to all children who want to register and play soccer; no elimination try-outs and nobody gets cut. Positive Coaching, Balanced Teams, Good Sportsmanship, Player Development. Volunteers are background checked and receive safe haven, sudden cardiac and concussion training.
