Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada offers Academic Success activities, Workforce Development experiences, Character & Leadership programs, Healthy Lifestyles activities, The Arts, Sports, Fitness & Recreation, and Youth of the Year recognition. The program serves ages 6 to 18 and runs after school with snacks and homework help.

• Workforce Development — Through safe spaces, mentorship, and hands-on work experiences, youth explore careers, build employable skills, and prepare for the workforce of tomorrow.
• Character & Leadership — Programs that build responsibility, citizenship, and leadership skills, while giving youth opportunities to contribute to their Club and community.
• Healthy Lifestyles — Activities that promote physical fitness, wellness, healthy choices, and skills to manage stress and cultivate positive relationships.
• The Arts — Creative experiences in digital, visual, performing, and applied arts that inspire self-expression, cultural awareness, and confidence.
• Sports, Fitness & Recreation — Programs that develop physical literacy, teamwork, and the love of being active, while encouraging resilience, discipline, and enjoyment of leisure time.
• Youth of the Year — Youth of the Year and Junior Youth of the Year represent the highest recognition for Club members who exemplify leadership, service, academic excellence and a commitment to living a healthy lifestyle.

About the provider

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada has been part of the local community since 1959 and has served for more than 60 years. The organization serves close to 14,000 youth each year. Its mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
