Broadway Kids Academy for the Performing Arts offers musical theater and show choir programs where students participate in singing, dancing, and acting. Broadway Kids Academy for the Performing Arts began as Hollywood Kids Academy for the Performing Arts in the fall of 2006 and changed its name in the fall of 2017. The first studio opened in the Northwest/Centennial Las Vegas area in the spring of 2008, the second location opened in Henderson in the fall of 2012, and the third location opened in the Summerlin area in the fall of 2016. Since 2006, Broadway Kids Academy has worked with thousands of students at multiple locations, and many students have performed on Broadway and in Cirque du Soleil productions.
The academy specializes in Triple Threat training for children ages 3–18 in singing, dancing, and acting, and children in the SUPER SUMMER MUSICAL THEATER CAMP five-day workshops develop talents as Triple Threat performers. Each child performs in their own class show each semester on professional stages with lights, microphones, and costumes, and summer camps include an end-of-week performance for parents, friends, and family. Space in the summer camps is limited, and Morning, Afternoon, and All-Day camps are offered.
Broadway Kids Academy for the Performing Arts states that its mission is to help children develop confidence, stage presence, and the ability to audition, speak, and perform in front of an audience while having fun.
