The program is led by Founder Felipe Loyo and includes activities connected to its partnership with INTERCUPS.
Las Vegas Diversity FC was created in 2016, and in 2017 it gained affiliation with USSOCCER and USCLUBS. The club is a NONPROFIT organization and has affiliation with USSOCCER and USCLUBS. Its stated mission is to introduce soccer to youth of all ages and skill levels and to give each player the opportunity to develop to their maximum potential. The mission also states that the club aims to ensure the local low-income soccer community has a chance to play club soccer and that it will work by providing education, developing, and supporting youth soccer. The program states that it strives to maintain an environment that incorporates core values such as integrity, leadership, perseverance, respect, and teamwork, promotes self-confidence, and promotes a culture of positive youth sportsmanship that teaches life lessons and “Honor the Game” for everyone.
