About
Kids Golf Association offers after school golf programs, summer golf camps, leagues, and tournaments. The program brings golf directly to children at their school and also runs a summer golf camp on a real golf course. The fee for participation is all-inclusive, and all equipment and materials are provided, so children only need a desire to participate, learn, and have fun.

Kids Golf Association describes its programs as premier after school golf programs that blend technique, knowledge, character building, and fun. The curriculum includes FUNdamentals, Know the Rules, Golf Etiquette and Manners (GEMs), Golf IQ, and Character Builders. Golf IQ includes applied geometry, mathematics, and physics (STEM). Character Builders introduce traits such as Acceptance, Confidence, Courtesy, Discipline, Honesty, Humility, Integrity, Judgement, Perseverance, Respect, Responsibility, and Sportsmanship. Kids Golf Association states that golf is relatively injury free and a non-impact sport, and notes that playing 18 holes of golf covers approximately 5 miles of walking and can burn up to 2000 calories. The organization states that it believes golf is one of the greatest games ever conceived and aims to expose as many kids as possible to golf.
Each coach in the program is well screened and certified. The founder, David Ross, is a former PGA professional who worked at Angel Park and Desert Pines golf courses in Las Vegas and played competitively on the Ben Hogan Tour (now known as the Korn Ferry Tour) and the Gateway Tour of Arizona. In 1998, David Ross went to work for Callaway Golf Company as a Club Specialist and performed club fittings for tour players and celebrities including John Daly, David Graham, Shannon Sharpe, and Celine Dion. In 2011, David Ross was a spokesperson for the Hexcaliber Golf Ball Tester. The program’s materials indicate © 2017 by Kids Golf Association LLC.
