Unity Martial Arts Academy

Unity Martial Arts Academy offers Taekwondo, Tiny Tigers, Kids, Teens, Adults, Cardio, Sparring, and Weapons classes. Tiny Tigers is for ages 3-5, Kids is for ages 6-12, Teens is for ages 13-17, and Adults is for ages 18 and up. Tiny Tigers meet on Mon, Tue, Thu, or Fri at 6:30pm, Kids classes are available with a recommendation of 2-3 times per week, Teens classes are available, and Adults meet Monday-Friday at 4:00pm and Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Cardio meets Wednesday 4:00pm-4:30pm and Saturday 11:00am-12:00pm, Sparring meets Wednesday 4:30pm-5:30pm and Saturday 12:00pm-1:00pm, and Weapons meets Wednesday 5:30pm-6:30pm.

About the provider

Unity Martial Arts Academy has provided professional martial arts training in Las Vegas for over 16 years. The leadership team includes Mr. Jason Johnson, 5th DAN Black Belt; Ms. Jaymi Johnson, 5th DAN Black Belt; and Ethan Johnson. The academy states that it has certified instructors, received UWTA's 2023 School of the Year award, and has accredited ranking certification nationally and internationally. It also expands programs to include students with special needs such as Cerebral Palsy and Autism, offers individual plans for children with a variety of interpersonal challenges, and teaches students to help their community by volunteering or setting up drives, including book drives for the underprivileged.

Students are tested at the end of each 8-week cycle and promoted if they pass. Kids are recommended to attend 2-3 times per week. Black Belt progress is typically about 30 months with consistent training. Contact form and text/email opt-in mentioned.
