Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association offers golf activities that include tournaments, Operation 36 lessons, and a 9-hole playing experience. Membership includes access to Youth on Course, tournaments, retail discounts, benefits, and more. The program has over 1,000 members and more than 1,000 hours of instruction.

Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association was founded in 1977. The organization’s mission is to teach children of all ages, regardless of socioeconomic background, the importance of honesty, integrity, and perseverance through the game of golf. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit and operates because of generous donors and supporters in the community. The leadership team includes Tim Quinn, President. The program has disbursed over $500,000 in scholarship funds and reports a 4.3+ satisfaction rate. Unique features include tournaments for all levels and ages from beginners to experts, Operation 36 lessons led by teachers who provide juniors with a 9-hole playing experience and the essentials of golf, and the Nevada Bucket List 2025 Sweepstakes with a chance to win a foursome of golf. The SNJGA also accepts in-kind equipment donations and asks families to call the office at 702-430-2600 to schedule a drop-off time for equipment donations.
