YMCA of Southern Nevada Youth Programs

YMCA of Southern Nevada Youth Programs include swim lessons, aqua fitness, lifeguard training, and group fitness classes. The program also offers access to courts, pools, state-of-the-art equipment, and a FREE Kids Gym. Youth camp offerings and an accredited preschool are part of the program, along with community health programs and family engagement events.

Established in 1944, the YMCA of Southern Nevada is one of the region’s longest-serving nonprofit organizations. The YMCA of Southern Nevada is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. The mission of The Y Las Vegas is to nurture the potential of kids, promote healthy living, and foster a sense of social responsibility in Southern Nevada. The organization states that it works side-by-side with neighbors so that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. The program includes military and veteran memberships and a guest pass option. The YMCA reports that 2,536 kids stayed safe and active at summer camp and that 52,041 free meals and snacks were served.
