Kicks Recreational League is a soccer program that includes play in the KICKS Soccer League, the HERO'S Cup, and the CLUB SU-IRL League. The league is described as FC Mesquite’s local grass-roots program and the foundation of the club. Coaches in the program are volunteers, and all teams are created randomly by the FC Mesquite Board.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Games on Fridays after 5pm from April 10, 2026, through May 8, 2026, with a final tournament on Saturday, May 16, 2026, starting at 9am; registration is open from December 15, 2025, through February 23, 2026
• Price: $65.00 per player, including an FC Mesquite jersey kit (jersey, shorts, socks)
KICKS follows the guidelines for recreation soccer set by Utah Youth Soccer Association and US Youth Soccer. FC Mesquite was established in 2009 as a non-profit organization providing youth soccer programs to the local community in and around Mesquite, Nevada. FC Mesquite states that its objective is to provide players a positive, safe and developmentally sound youth soccer experience and to continue developmental programs for players and coaches within the club. The club notes that it will be implementing a seating procedure for upcoming seasons and that it will help with coaching license costs for those who are interested. Referees for league play are noted as being able to earn $20 or more per hour, with higher pay for tournaments. FC Mesquite lists its leadership as President John Schippert, Secretary/Treasurer DeNae Rappleye, Registrar Kiera Anderson, and Director of Coaching/Tournament Director and Director FC Mesquite, Scott Trimming. FC Mesquite also publicly thanks its sponsors for their dedication to the club and the community.
