Fascinating Rhythm School of Performing Arts (Kia’s FR Dance) offers dance in all styles, dance technique, Musical Theater, Parkour, Aerial Silks, and a Special Needs Dance program. The program also includes a Competition Crew, an annual recital, and the production of an original musical each year.

Founded in 1994, Kia’s FR Dance has trained thousands of students in the performing arts over the years. The studio produces an original musical every year, including shows in its Library Series: A Night at the Library, Another Night at the Library, A Haunted Night at the Library, and Jack and the Bookstack, and is finishing the second editions of this series with a new musical planned to debut in fall 2022. With what it describes as the largest staff of multi-talented teachers in Reno, the program states that dancers receive a well-rounded education in many areas of the performing arts from beginning to professional levels, with teachers who have extensive training and stage experience. The studio describes itself as a friendly, family-oriented place with a happy, creative, whimsical, and encouraging environment, expressed in its motto, “DANCE HARD, LAUGH LOUD,” and calls itself “the Happiest Dance Studio in Reno.” Fascinating Rhythm School of Performing Arts has been selected again as one of the Three Best Rated Dance Studios in Reno and was noted as a “Best Business of 2020,” and its shows have been invited to perform for Artown, Nevada’s Reading Conference, and at local schools. The facility is described as a 5,400+ square foot space with three studios that have sprung wood floors for dance and exercise, 27-foot high ceilings, mirrors, stage lighting, independent heating and air conditioning, and observation windows for watching classes. For dancers interested in competing, the Competition Crew participates in 4 to 5 local and out-of-state competitions and conventions each season.
