About
Reno Tennis Center Junior Tennis Camps offers coach-led junior tennis training for ages 4-17. Players are grouped strictly by ability first and age second whenever possible, and the camps use age-appropriate equipment and smaller court sizes for younger players. The program includes Spring Break Tennis Camps, Summer Tennis Camps, and Fall Break Tennis Camps, and it is not a drop-in activity camp.
Programs
- Junior Tennis Camps — Ages 4-17 · Spring Break, Summer, and Fall Break camps; follows the Washoe County School District calendar · Coach-led, pathway-aligned junior tennis training environment. Not a drop-in activity camp. Players are grouped strictly by ability first, and age second whenever possible.
- Spring Break Tennis Camps — Beginner through advancing juniors · During the spring school break; half-day and full-day options available depending on the week · Skill development camps operating during the spring school break.
- Summer Tennis Camps — Brand new players and returning pathway athletes · Multi-week summer camp blocks · Utilizes a progressive weekly curriculum.
- Fall Break Tennis Camps — Junior players · During the fall school break · Short break intensive training camps focused heavily on mechanical fundamentals and immediate match readiness.
- Junior Tennis Pathway — Ages 4-17 · Year-round program progression with skill-based grouping, court grouping, and clear coach feedback/placement guidance.
- Junior Tennis Lessons & Pathway — Junior players · Year-round · Structured progression from first contact to competitive play.
- Junior Tennis Classes — Junior players · Year-round · Skill-grouped junior classes with progression stages and performance tracking.

About the provider
Tennis Nation Racquet Sports operates Reno Tennis Center and says the facility is led by founder Randy Reynolds. The staff is USPTA and PPR certified, and the program page says the facility is supported by the largest team of teaching professionals in the area. Tennis Nation also works with the Robert Unsworth Foundation, whose support has helped young players take part in programs and receive instruction they otherwise may not have been able to afford.
These are not drop-in activity camps. Player safety comes first. If court conditions are unsafe or unplayable, that camp day is cancelled and families are notified promptly with next-step options. If a camp session is cancelled due to weather or unsafe court conditions, an account credit is issued to the CourtReserve account. For unforeseeable circumstances, account credits are also provided when notice is given.
