Since 2001, eCamps Sports Network has developed over 100,000 young athletes at its camps nationwide, and Revolution Softball Camps offers summer camps and clinics throughout the country, including options for regular or extended day camps and overnight camps. Core values for Revolution Softball Camps include Excellence, Fun, Improvement, Safety, and Sportsmanship.
Camp Director Ron Sparks is the Head Coach and a private instructor, with over 15 years of experience coaching at all levels. He is the Head Coach for the Muckdogs Baseball Club’s 15U Summer Team and 18U Black Fall/Winter Team and has also coached the 9U and 15U teams. He was one of the original baseball coaches at Spanish Springs High School, where he led the program for 6 years, then coached baseball at North Valleys High School for 5 years, and has served as a Hitting Consultant at Yerington High School.
Campers are asked to bring all necessary softball equipment, a refillable water bottle, lunch, and a snack, with suggested items including a glove, bat, helmet, cleats, catcher’s gear if they are a catcher, athletic socks, sliding pads, hat, sneakers, and a health form. Campers are allowed to bring cell phones to contact their guardians, but phones are not allowed on the field during training sessions, and all personal items are the responsibility of each camper, with Revolution Softball and its camp staff not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items.
One parent testimonial states that “The staff at Revolution Softball Camp went above and beyond to create a supportive and inclusive environment for players of all skill levels.” Another camper shared that “The coaches were super patient and made it fun. They broke down proper swinging methods and helped me improve my swing by tweaking my stance and follow through.” A third camper said, “It was so much fun to spend part of the summer with other players who love this sport like me!”
