About the provider

Sierra Nevada Basketball was founded in 2006 and was renamed Sierra Nevada Basketball in 2015. It started with approximately 120 players and now has over 500 players in the Winter league. The program says its main priorities are work ethic, teamwork, and playing the game the right way, and it emphasizes long term player and program development. It also offers camps throughout the year and hosts tournaments for other travel programs and high school teams.

Parents are asked not to coach their children or other players during practices and games. Practice attendance can affect playing time. Players must have at least 60% practice attendance heading into the week of a tournament to be eligible to play. The program encourages a positive environment and a 24-hour rule for sensitive issues.
