About
C Horse Ranch Riding Lessons offers hands on horsemanship training from the ground up, including safety, grooming, learning the parts of the horse, general medical care, and feeding and nutrition. Participants also learn tacking up and untacking procedures, equipment care, and take beginner, novice, and intermediate riding lessons.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Open any time you need us.
The program takes place in facilities that include a 60 foot round pen, a practice arena, a tack room, a large turnout and working area, a 12 x 12 shelter with a 36 x 32 or larger enclosed area, and out-the-gate trails. Eileen Bailey, Owner of C Horse Ranch, leads the program and is certified in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine Assisted Learning (EAL). The stated mission is, “We're never too old, too fat, too inexperienced or too timid to learn and to love horses.” The ranch also works with children, individuals and families, and offers a no pressure atmosphere, boarding by the day, week, month or year, high quality hay, and 24/7 on-site personnel. Equine-assisted work at the ranch honors and integrates natural horse and herd behavior as a model for human mental and emotional health.
