Taecole Tae Kwon Do & Fitness has been providing martial arts instruction in Nassau County for over 20 years. The kids martial arts program in Albertson follows a mission to provide a safe, caring and educational environment, to support and actively encourage personal growth, and to empower students while developing an awareness of the importance of fitness, health and safety in a fun and engaging environment. The program states that “Taecole kids are safe kids” and offers kids programs, adult programs, and additional activities, including a free trial class offer.

Summer Camp at Taecole Tae Kwon Do & Fitness is described as being designed to keep children off the couch with stimulating and fun activities. Summer Camp staff are described as experienced in teaching in a fun and challenging format that will improve a child’s fitness and confidence.

The leadership team includes Master Messina (Instructor), Miss Mimi (Instructor), Grand Master S. C. Kang (Master Messina's Instructor), and Master Maggie (Women of Distinction Nassau County 2023). As a Primal Health Coach, the program reports staying ahead of the curve with an integrated approach, helping others create lives of maximum vitality using nutrition and fitness. Grand Master S. C. Kang is noted as the first of the original Chung Do Kwan Black Belts to receive the honor of 10th Dan Black Belt.

Taecole Tae Kwon Do & Fitness has received several recognitions, including “Best on the North Shore 2024 BEST MARTIAL ARTS SCHOOL ON THE NORTH SHORE!” and Master Maggie’s Women of Distinction Nassau County 2023 honor.
