About
Camp Shakespeare gives kids structured time in acting, theater games, improvisation, movement, voice, and theatrical arts and crafts. The program is part of a nonprofit organization that also presents free outdoor productions where the audience is encouraged to bring the family and a picnic. These productions use natural performance spaces to surround the audience with the play, including staging scenes on distant hillsides and making surprise entrances from the midst of the crowd.
