Key to My Art offers art therapy, art classes, art camp, paint parties, virtual paint parties, paint events, art workshops, library programs, dance, foam parties, online art classes, in-studio art classes, private paint sessions, and painting events for children and adults. The program offers both online and in-studio paint sessions and events for kids and adults, and it is an art studio for all ages.

Key to My Art opened in 2015. The owner, Riesa Fischer, is a New York State certified Art Teacher and Art Therapist and is the owner of Key to My Art. The studio was created to provide the community with a place to come and use new materials, learn new techniques, or practice old ones. Key to My Art states that it is a place that encourages creativity, provides materials and instruction which gives participants the “key” to their art, and maintains a positive, encouraging environment with no judgments or harsh criticism. A statement that is often heard in classes is, “There is NO WRONG in art!” The program notes that the environment is intended to feel good, that the owner specializes in work with children, and that she is described as very patient, caring, and encouraging. Key to My Art has been featured in Newsday (March 2020) and Your Local Kids Source (March 2020), and families are invited to check them out on News 12 and in Newsday. Riesa Fischer shares, “I believe that EVERYONE can create, and NOBODY should feel that they aren't good enough. Art is a fun, relaxing way to express yourself. I want all our art-makers to know that we are 100% committed to making you feel comfortable, and creative!”
