NY Martial Arts Academy

NY Martial Arts Academy offers Jeet Kune Do classes, kickboxing, grappling, boxing techniques, MMA training, cardio kickboxing, and self defense classes. The program also includes children’s classes, adult programs, private training, corporate training, and women’s self-defense training.

In 1985, NY Martial Arts Academy was the first school in the tri-state area to teach Jeet Kune Do. It was also the first school in the tri-state area to be officially recognized by the Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Nucleus. The academy has trained over 14,000 students and offers small group lessons with personalized attention and constant interaction with students. The program offers corporate memberships to organizations and provides an option to try a week free and register.

The head instructor, Sifu Dino Orfanos, is described as an experienced martial art instructor and a knowledgeable, skilled and passionate teacher. He is a certified Full Instructor in the Filipino Martial Arts of Kali and Escrima and is part of the leadership team at the academy.
