Anchor Day Camp and Youth Activities

Anchor Camp and Youth Activities offers a wide range of activities, including sailing, tennis, swimming, sports, arts and crafts, STEAM fueled activities, paddleboarding, and fishing. Anchor Day Camp provides a traditional camp experience with a one-of-a-kind sailing program onsite, and a competitive swim team meets twice weekly for practice and meets throughout the summer. Children ages 5–15 can learn the fundamentals of sailing, tennis, and swimming from experienced instructors.

Anchor Day Camp is described as the perfect summer home for pre-schoolers up to 7th graders. The program is open to both members and non-members, allowing the wider community to participate. The Long Island Yacht Club, which hosts the day camp, has offered facilities and hosted exclusive events for both members and non-members and is described as a home away from home offering peace and serenity away from the busy hustle and bustle of everyday life. The club states that its commitment is to provide the best experience for members and their families, with staff available to assist in making their time there as enjoyable as possible.
