The SCJTL Bayport-Blue Point Tennis Programs are staffed by high school and college players who are directed and supervised by Suffolk County's most experienced coaches. Programs are sponsored by the Suffolk County Tennis and Education Foundation, Inc. (SCTEF), a New York State nonprofit corporation, and are open to students and residents of the Bayport-Blue Point school district only. The mission of the program is to serve the local community and surrounding area by offering juniors and adults high quality, affordable tennis lessons close to home and opportunities to participate in local tournaments. The leadership team includes Coach John Selvaggio, Coach Keith Scharf, and Joe Arias, who is the Suffolk County Tennis & Education Foundation President and Suffolk County Junior Tennis League Founder and Executive Director. Program features include options for all ages and levels, comfortable and spacious tennis camps for younger players, competitive tennis programs for juniors at varying ages and skill levels, and a coach-to-player ratio that allows for more personalized instruction. The program notes Suffolk County Small School Girls and Boys County Team Finalist and League Champion results in 2022, 2023, and 2024, a 2024 NY State Girls Team Championship, and Suffolk County Small School County Team Champion and League Champion results in 2021.
