Camp Summerset is a reading and writing summer camp where children take part in reading, writing, creative reading, creative writing, and self-expression activities. The program also includes outside activities that use hiking trails, a playground, and a large playing field.
• Ages: 5–10 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–12:30 pm with enrichment programs from 1:00 pm–2:30 pm, offered July 6–24, 2026
Camp Summerset describes itself as the only camp of its kind and offers a creative and fun way for kids to connect with reading, writing, and self-expression. It is open to children entering Kindergarten through 5th grade from diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
