Elmira Gymnastics Club offers gymnastics programs, Warrior Training classes, dance programs, preschool movement programs, teenage dance classes, and EGC Summer Fun. The program also offers School Break Camps, Kids Night Out events, field trips, and private lessons in gymnastics, tumbling, dance, and warrior. Families have access to additional fitness options that include cardio equipment, circuit training, aerobics classes, and free weights.

Elmira Gymnastics Club was created by Dave Sherman in 1981 and has over 30 years of service in the Elmira, New York area. The club offers a developmental program of gymnastics for boys and girls starting at 8 months of age, and Warrior Training classes are for boys and girls ages 6 months and up. The curriculum includes instruction in all Men's and Women's Olympic events for boys and girls of all abilities. Teacher-pupil ratios are low and never exceed 1 to 8, and classes are small with plentiful equipment. Students progress through a sequential program that uses objective measures to assess each gymnast's progress and place them into classes by ability. Currently over 500 children participate in different levels of classes, and more than 40 young gymnasts train in the USAIGC competitive team program. Registration is open throughout the session in classes with room, and families can use the EGC Parent Portal and iClassPro app to register for classes and camps and make payments. EGC offers leotards, t-shirts, and more at the front desk, along with a virtual proshop that includes gift certificates, leotards, shorts, and home equipment.
The Elmira Gymnastics Club guarantees a quality program of gymnastics that is built upon the principle that every individual's progress is important, and states that great care is taken to assure that optimum learning conditions prevail regardless of age or level of ability. Elmira Gymnastics Club competitive team members have captured 70 individual and 23 team New York State Championship titles, and team gymnasts have won 57 New York State individual titles and numerous State and Regional event championships. EGC teams have captured 22 New York State team championships. The Elmira Gymnastics Club Team performs exhibitions for groups and organizations. The Owner/Director is Laura Monichetti.
