School of Rock Rockland offers performance-based music education that includes weekly private music lessons, weekly group music lessons, and group rehearsals. The program combines one-on-one instruction, band practices, live performances, songwriting, songwriting exercises, lyrical workshops, and recording original songs.

School of Rock Rockland uses a patented music education system called the School of Rock Method and Proficiency Method™ and combines one-on-one lessons with group band practices. Programs include the Little Wing program for ages 4–5, the Rookies program for ages 6–7, the Rock 101 program for ages 8–13, the Performance Program for ages 8–18, and a Songwriting program for ages 12 and over. In the Little Wing program, kids use hand percussion and other tools to learn rhythm patterns and music syntax, and in the Rookies program, kids use simplified rock instruments to learn to play music. Students in these programs play shows in real rock venues. School of Rock has been ranked #1 in Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 List and named a 2026 Top Franchise.
