Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center offers Dance Merit Scholarship Auditions and a Dance Uniform Clearance Sale. The Dance Merit Scholarship Auditions take place in Room 201 and require all dancers to audition to be considered for a Dance Merit Scholarship. The Dance Uniform Clearance Sale offers dance uniforms and supplies at clearance prices while quantities last.

For the Dance Merit Scholarship Auditions, dancers should wear a leotard and tights or a fitted T-shirt and leggings, with bare feet or dance shoes, and should bring ballet slippers, jazz shoes, and sneakers. Merit Scholarships offer tuition waivers, discounted rates, intensive training, and performance opportunities for dedicated dancers, and scholarship benefits include subsidized tuition, professional mentorship, performance opportunities, teacher assistant training, and guest choreographer workshops. Eligibility for the Dance Merit Scholarship Auditions is for ages 10–17 with a minimum of 2 years of dance training, open to new and returning students, with priority given to NYC-based students, especially those in the Bronx, and results are shared within 2 to 3 weeks. For the Dance Uniform Clearance Sale, available items may include tights, leotards, lapas, and dance shoes, and families are asked to review the Uniform Guide for their child’s class requirements before purchasing. Mind-Builders’ instructors are expert musicians, dancers, or actors and are also dedicated coaches who share their passion and skill with students. Office hours during the fall and spring are Tuesday–Saturday, 10 am–4 pm, and during the summer are Monday–Friday, 9 am–6 pm. The facilities are ADA accessible and equipped with an elevator and exterior ramp, and there is no parking lot on site.

Located in the Northeast Bronx, Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center inspires the growth of youth, families and the community through quality arts and education programs. The organization also engages in community involvement through a holiday drive for the homeless that has collected socks, hats, and gloves, spreading Kwanza love.
