After School Programs at Kings Bay Y include activities such as Archery, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Pickleball, Thai Boxing, and Israel Folk Dance. The programs also offer arts and enrichment options like Drama Club, Theatre, Introduction to Watercolor Painting, Color Your World, Colored Sounds, Poet’s Circle, Ukelele Voices, Young Songmakers, and Everybody Can Dance. Academic and skill-based options include Math and English State Test Prep, Mental Arithmetic, Express C# – Beginner Level, Interactive Science, Introduction to Astronomy, Russian (For Beginners), College Essay Writing Workshop, SAT Prep Lessons for High School Students, and SHSAT Prep Lessons for Middle School Students.

The organization also runs Children’s Group Swim Classes, Private Swim Lessons, Personal Training, Sports Programs, Sports for Adults, Yoga for Every Body, Yoga Way of Living, Tai Chi, SilverSneakers, and a Program for Deaf or Hearing Impaired Older Adults. Teen and Jewish-focused options include the Jewish Tween Program, Tween Jewish Program, Ogen Teen Program, NYC Teen Trip to Israel, Tot Shabbat, Israel Club at Brooklyn Tech, Israel Club at The Leon M. Goldstein High School, JSU club at Brooklyn Millennium High School, and JSU Club at School of the Future.

The Kings Bay Y operates as a full-service community center and has remained true to its 60-year-old mission. Its mission states that Kings Bay YM-YWHA strives to build and strengthen communities, create meaningful relationships and lasting friendships, and foster deeper connections among individuals, families, and partner institutions in Brooklyn. Under the JCC Brooklyn umbrella, it has made inroads in Brownstone Brooklyn and North Brooklyn.
