Hoops Academy

Hoops Academy offers a range of basketball activities, including Basketball Summer Camp, Private/Skills Training, Hoops Strength & Conditioning, and a Development League (Practice & Play). The program also includes a 3 on 3 League, Travel Team (AAU), afterschool options, Girls Basketball, a Girls Development Program, practices and clinics, weekly clinics, team participation, skills sessions, private lessons, in-house leagues, and the Hoops League.

• Price: Full Day 9am–4pm / $575; Half Day 9am–1pm / $350

Hoops Academy is a Brooklyn-based youth basketball program coaching kids ages 4–18 and uses a European-style development approach that has impacted over 1,000 young athletes. The Hoops League is specifically for 1st to 8th graders and is divided by age. The coaching staff consists of highly qualified and experienced basketball experts, and the coaches have played at high levels. The program describes itself as more than basketball and states that its mission goes beyond the court by focusing on discipline, resilience, sportsmanship, teamwork, and work ethic. All of Hoops Academy South Brooklyn programs are held at Shorefront YM-YWHA, and program schedules may vary by semester.
