About
Buffalo Equestrian Center Summer Camp includes horsey games and activities, along with a riding portion of Fun Day for registered campers. Each session features activities for riders at the beginner and intermediate levels, and students may progress to a more advanced skill level as skills are mastered. Parents, families, and friends are encouraged to come watch campers show off the skills they have learned during the riding portion of Fun Day.
• Ages: 6–12 years old
• Schedule: Three Tuesday–Friday sessions in July 2026
• Price: There is a $25 fee per child for Camp Fun Day. All registrations must be accompanied by a $175 non-refundable deposit. Feed/Hay for 1 month for 1 Horse $60; Farrier service for 1 month for 1 Horse $75; Grain for 1 month for 1 Horse $100; A saddle pad with their name on it $35; Treats for 1 month for 1 Horse $25; Shavings for 1 month for 1 Horse $80; In-house Vet Visit for 1 month for 1 Horse $50; Total Package for 1 month for 1 horse $425.
In 2026 the camp offers three sessions, each running Tuesday through Friday: Week 1 from July 7–10, Week 2 from July 14–17, and Week 3 from July 21–24, all for ages 6–12. Camp Fun Day will be held on Saturday, July 26 from 1pm–3pm, and the riding portion of Fun Day is open to all registered campers.
Campers may register by mail using the Buffalo Equestrian Center Summer Camp brochure or by printing out the PDF registration form. All registrations must be accompanied by a $175 non-refundable deposit or the application will not be accepted. Once registration is processed, a confirmation letter is sent, and the required release and medical forms are included for all non-members. Prospective campers who are not already registered as members of Buffalo Equestrian Center are sent a rider application and release form, and the release form must be notarized prior to camp. These forms must be completed in order to participate in camp, and families are asked to return all forms one week before the requested session. Families are instructed to return the registration form and release form with the deposit to Summer Camp at the Buffalo Equestrian Center, Inc. Camp materials ask drivers to observe the 4 MPH speed limit while driving on the grounds.
