Baiting Hollow Scout Camp offers year-round camping and programs that include Winter Camp programs, Spring Camp programs, and Summer Camp programs. The camp runs a variety of specific sessions such as Cub Scout Winter Day Camp, Scouts BSA Winter Camp, Cub Scout Spring Day Camp, Cub Scout Day Camp, Scouts BSA Spring Camp, Cub Scout Resident Camp, Cub/Parent Water Fun Day, and Cub Scout Science Day Camp. Additional activities and programs at Baiting Hollow Scout Camp include a COPE & Climbing Wall, Family Camping, leadership trainings, the Rising Sun program, and the BHSC Centennial Camporee, serving Scouts BSA, Cub Scouts, Venture Crews, Exploring Posts, and their families.

Baiting Hollow Scout Camp has been serving Scouting since 1926. It is owned and operated by the Suffolk County Council, Scouting America. The leadership team includes Assistant Scout Executive / Camp Director Jim Grimaldi and Council President Lou Scotti. The mission of Suffolk County Council, Scouting America is to provide a comprehensive values-based program that develops character, teaches citizenship, and encourages personal fitness to more than 7,500 youth each year. Through its Learning for Life Division, the council offers career education programs for youth, including in-school Learning for Life programs with career speakers and Exploring programs that give real world experience in different career fields. The service center also offers Scouting for individuals with special needs via the FDR Division, including traditional Scouting, group home and agency Scouting, in school Scouting programs, and coed programs such as Exploring and Learning for Life.
