Gold Medal Gymnastics & Ninja Summer Camp includes gymnastics, ninja, and tumbling, along with arts and crafts, games, and crafts. Camp days can also feature visits from some very special characters, gymnastics and snacks, pizza, a Halloween party, and a spooky adventure.
• Ages: 3–12 years old
• Schedule: Pick 3, 4, or 5 days a week from 9:30am to 12:30pm, with an optional Lunch Bunch Extended Option of 1 extra hour per day
• Price: Gymnastics or Ninja camp pricing is as low as $65 per day, with the Lunch Bunch Extended Option at $20 per day per child
Gold Medal Gymnastics Centers have been Long Island's leading gymnastics center since 1973. Each weekly gymnastics and ninja camp has a different theme with special events and activities, plus gymnastics instruction indoors and outdoors in fully air-conditioned and air purified facilities. Ages 3–12 years must be potty trained for camp, and campers bring in a snack. Parents choose the camps year after year because of caring, qualified instructors, and facilities are cleaned and sterilized daily.
The program states that it prides itself on creating a quality learning experience for every child regardless of ability or skill, and that gymnastics teaches goal setting and achievement, teamwork, and communication, while building upper and lower body strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, and spatial awareness in a fun learning environment. Additional features connected to the broader program include Ice Cream Truck Fridays for campers, Pizza Wednesdays, a Lunch Bunch Extended Option, School’s Out Camp, a February Winter Break Camp, an Annual Family Expo End of School Year Exhibition with a 2025 theme of “Wild Wild West!”, Olympic gymnasts visiting on special occasions, a Special Needs Class for ages 3–18 years, a Drop & Shop Black Friday childcare event, and a Spooktacular & Trunk or Treat Halloween party. There is also a refer-a-friend program where both the referring family and the friend receive 25% off one month of Gymnastics or Ninja classes, with stated conditions and a limit of one per customer.
Parent feedback includes comments about staff professionalism, courtesy, awareness, and focus on safety, as well as children having a wonderful time and being very happy with the program. One parent of a 4-year-old at the Centereach gym reports that their child has loved every minute of every class and describes the coach’s excitement when the child landed her first cartwheel.
