Frost Valley YMCA Camps offers Camp Wawayanda, where children entering grades 2-7 choose from activities based on age, interest, and ability, and Camp Henry Hird, a traditional overnight camp for children entering grades 8-10 with extended overnights on the trail, sleeping under the stars, and adventure courses. The program also includes Adventure Ramblers for grades 4-7, with hiking, camping, outdoor skills, and environmental education; Adventure Village for grades 5-9; Adventure Trips for grades 7-12; Horse Trails for grades 8 and up with full-day horseback treks through the Catskills backcountry; Farm Camp, where campers care for animals, tend the garden, and harvest food; and Seedlings for children entering grades 2-4.

- Adventure Ramblers — Grades 4-7 · One-week sessions · Intro to the adventure program; campers sample hiking, camping, outdoor skills, and environmental education.
- Adventure Village — Grades 5-9 · 12-day session · Co-ed specialty program combining traditional resident camp and adventure trips program.
- Adventure Trips — Grades 7-12 · Adventure trips focused on character building, challenging yourself, and making lasting friendships.
- Horse Trails — Grades 8 and up · One-week sessions · One-week equestrian adventure for experienced riders with full-day horseback treks through the Catskills backcountry.
- Farm Camp — Children entering grades 2-10 · Hands-on working farm experience where campers care for animals, tend the garden, and harvest food.
- Seedlings — Children entering grades 2-4 · One-week sessions · Brand-new one-week Farm Camp experience.
- Summer Day Camps — Kids in grades Pre-K-10 · Camps for local families.

- Ages: 4–16 years old
- General schedule: Overnight camp sessions run in four summer sessions. Campers follow a daily schedule with waterfront, choice period, creative program, specialties, dinner, evening programs, and lights out. Farm Camp includes chores, specialties, campers choice & waterfront, yurt time, and evening program.

Frost Valley YMCA says it has been offering camping for 141 years and identifies itself as established in 1885. Each summer, it serves over 4,000 children, and throughout the year it welcomes over 35,000 participants, including students, families, scouts, corporate teams, and organizations.

As of August 24, 2025, Frost Valley YMCA is now a nut-aware facility. Campers are placed in villages according to age and gender identity. Camp Wawayanda villages include girls+, boys+, gender inclusive, and mainstreaming at camp. Farm Camp campers live in age and gender-based Mongolian yurts.
