Long Island Dance Force offers classes including Mommy and Me, Tiny Tots, Nursery Class, Pre-School and Pre-K Classes, Kinder Combo, 1st/2nd Grade Combo, Intermediate and Advanced Classes, Adult Dance, and an award winning competition team. Children and adults can take part in activities such as creative movement, beginner ballet, ballet stretches, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, Kid Hop, acro, tumbling skills, cheer, gymnastics, and partner dance with Mommy and Baby. The Mommy and Me Class includes circle time songs, assisted stretching and infant massage, pretend play, music playing, and gymnastics.

• Schedule: The Mommy and Me Class is a 45 minute class that runs once a week from September–June.

Long Island Dance Force opened its doors in 1999 and is celebrating its 25th year in business. The studio offers a Mommy and Me Class for ages 12–24 months, a Nursery Class for 2-year-olds as a creative movement class, a Pre-School and Pre-K one hour ballet/tap/acro Combo class for toddlers ages 3–4, a Kid Hop/Acro Combo Class for tiny tots who want to do Hip Hop, a Kinder Combo one hour class with 30 minutes of Ballet and 30 minutes of Tap for 5-year-olds, a 1st/2nd Grade Combo hour and a half class with 30 minutes each of Ballet, Jazz, and Tap for 6–7-year-olds, Intermediate & Advanced classes for ages 8 and up, Acro for ages 5 and up, Kid Hop for ages 5–7, and Cheer for ages 5 and up. Ballet shoes are required for the Nursery Class for 2-year-olds, Ballet and Tap shoes are required for the Kinder Combo for 5-year-olds, and Ballet, Tap, and Jazz shoes are required for the 1st/2nd Grade Combo for 6–7-year-olds.

The studio’s mission is to instruct a high quality of dance while providing a nurturing and encouraging environment and to focus on building friendships, memories, and self confidence. Long Island Dance Force has an award winning competition team with spots available upon audition. The leadership team includes Studio Owner and Director Nicole Bruhnke, who has been part of Long Island Dance Force since it opened in 1999. The professional staff includes instructors such as Olivia, Michaela Wagner, Stephanie Cascio, McKenna Tyson, Jaewon Kim, and Stephanie Gillett, who have extensive dance training and experience in styles including tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, pointe, contemporary, modern, Irish step, and musical, as well as backgrounds in performance, competition, choreography, and dance education.
