The Rewilding School offers programs for children, families, and adults and emphasizes curiosity, play, hands-on skills, and connection with the outdoors rather than traditional classroom schooling. It teaches on the un-ceded and traditional homelands of both the Lenni Lenape and Wappinger peoples and acknowledges historical and continuing injustices that have forcibly excluded these people from their lands. The organization serves Westchester County Somers Croton On Hudson Mount Kisco and surrounding towns and is committed to reparative actions, including a Reparative Roots program, seasonal free community give back days, and conservation actions carried out with land management organizations.
