Dance Spectrum

Dance Spectrum offers children's season-long programs and workshops for dancers ages 18 months to 8 years old, recreational season-long programs for dancers ages 9 to 18 years old, and competitive Intensive and Company Programs for dancers ages 5 to 18. It also offers Boys Crew, adult programs for all adults from beginner to advanced, private lessons in choreography, and private lessons in technique with a faculty member.

About the provider

Dance Spectrum opened in 1979. The about page says it moved to its current home on Transit Road by 1990 and expanded again in 1998 and 2004. Patty Neal is the Founder and CEO, and Katie Coyne is the Assistant Office Manager. The mission statement is: teaching children the joy of dance and the importance of being kind, strong, and resilient. Patty Neal states she performed professionally with AM Dance in Concert, described as the first Tap and Jazz company in the U.S.

Registration for the 2026-2027 season opens May 18 for Premium Members, May 20 for Standard Members, and May 22 for New Members. Private Lesson Policies include age-based limits, acceptance dates of June 18, August 15, October 15, and December 15, a $20 missed rehearsal fee, and possible suspension if tuition/accounts are not current or attendance policies are not maintained.
