Camp Walden

Camp Walden offers full-season, half-season, and two-week options. Campers take part in group periods and choice periods each day. Younger campers have one Elective and one Club Choice each day, while older campers in 6th grade and up have one Elective, one Club Choice, and one Daily Option.

• Camp Walden Full Season — ages 7–16 · $17,450 · 2027 Full Summer runs June 24 to August 11.
• Camp Walden First Half — ages 7–16 · $10,875 · Four-week First Session runs June 24 to July 17.
• Camp Walden Second Half — ages 7–16 · $10,875 · Four-week Second Session runs July 18 to August 11.
• Camp Walden Two-Week Introductory Option — campers who have completed third grade and under, and who are attending for their first summer · $7,850 · Two-week introductory option for 2027.
• Camp Walden Teen Program — campers who have completed 9th grade · Full-summer-only program.
• Camp Walden Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program — those who have completed 10th grade · Full-summer-only program.

About the provider

Camp Walden was founded in 1931 and is owned and directed by the Bernstein family. Its stated mission is, “A Summer of Fun, A Lifetime of Memories.” The camp says it wants campers to try new things, improve skills, make new friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Co-ed overnight camp. All activities are grouped by gender and age for the most appropriate level of instruction. The camp says it will take the absolute best care of campers while also challenging them to help take care of those around them.
