Edge Martial Arts

Edge Martial Arts offers Tiny Tigers Karate, Kids Karate, Teen Karate, Adult Karate, preschool martial arts, kids martial arts, teen martial arts, adult martial arts, and a Competition Karate Program. The Competition Karate Program is for current Edge Martial Arts students only, has annual tryouts in September, accepts beginners starting at Blue Belt level, and focuses exclusively on kata.

About the provider

Edge Martial Arts says it has served Westchester since 2018. Sensei Eric Radoman is Co-Owner and Chief Instructor, Sensei Caroleann Radoman is Director of Operations, and Sensei Ben Andersen runs the competition karate program. Sensei Ben Andersen is also Team USA National Kata Trainer for the northeast region, and Edge Martial Arts is a USA Karate member dojo. The school says it provides classes to Lower Westchester Rivertowns communities including Dobbs Ferry, Tarrytown, Hastings-on-Hudson, Ardsley, Irvington, and Scarsdale.

Prospective students or athletes wishing to visit the dojo should reach out separately. Competition Team tryouts are held annually in September, and every student, including returning team members, is expected to try out each year. The Competition Team program focuses exclusively on kata and does not participate in kumite at tournaments. Team tryouts are available starting at the Blue Belt level. Parents may stay to observe preschool classes if they wish.
