• Ages: 5–18 years old

Camp Gorton celebrated its 100th anniversary on July 14, 2024. Its mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. The camp’s leadership team includes Camp Ranger Joe Fountain, Camp Director Ian Walruth, and Camp Clerk Crystal VanZile. The Gorton Campmaster Corps is a group of dedicated, experienced, and trained Scouters who volunteer at Camp Gorton, with Campmaster Corps units made up of 3–5 members, each with a team leader, and each Campmaster is asked to spend at least two weekends from Friday at 5:00 pm to Sunday at 1:00 pm at camp each year. The Great Falls Council runs an annual Scouting for Food drive that benefits community food pantries across their region.
