Sid Jacobson JCC – Early Childhood, Youth, Teen & Summer Programs

Sid Jacobson JCC – Early Childhood, Youth, Teen & Summer Programs includes children’s sports classes such as basketball, fencing, hockey, and pickleball. The program also offers children’s swim programs with group swim classes for every age and stage, as well as specific swim classes. Additional activities include Maccabi Games 15U Boys Baseball Tryouts and Winter Melodies with Little Maestros: Music, Lunch & Play.

• Ages: 0–18 years old
• Schedule: Building hours include Sunday options, early morning through evening on weekdays, and daytime hours on Saturday

The program’s mission statement is: “Within and beyond our walls, wherever you are from, whoever you love, however you identify, whatever makes you who you are, you are welcomed here.” Teen programs at Sid Jacobson JCC include options for volunteering, leading, learning, and playing, and the Early Childhood, Youth + Teens department includes summer camps, teen offerings, vacation programs, and youth programs. The program is connected with UJA Federation New York. Community involvement includes the Nikki Schwartz Memorial Community Needs Bank, a Community Needs Bank Wish List, community partnerships, volunteerism through Curb Your Mitzvah to help stock the Community Needs Bank shelves, Pride 365!, and Black History Month activities that focus on learning from Black leaders, supporting Black-owned businesses, and finding community resources.
